Hi, I'm Sam

I work as a person centred counsellor in Falmouth and online. As a person-centred counsellor I believe in the power of empathy, authenticity, and creating a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is going on for you. I work collaboratively, trusting in your capacity for growth and healing at your own pace.

I offer a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, go over what's been difficult or confusing, and find room to grow in your own time and in your own way.

Who I Work With

I work with teenagers through to older adults, supporting people with a wide range of challenges including anxiety, panic attacks, depression, OCD, and experiences of neurodiversity.

Having lived experience of dyslexia and ADHD myself, I'm particularly passionate about making therapy accessible and supportive for neurodivergent people. I'll meet you where you are, without judgement or an agenda.

Beyond the Therapy Room

Outside of the therapy room, you'll often find me in the sea, up a climbing wall, or in the kitchen baking something new. These passions keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of balance, challenge, and creativity. Values I also bring into my work as a counsellor.

Our Approach

We believe in a personalised approach to therapy, recognising that each individual's journey is unique. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and support you need to achieve positive change and personal growth.

"In my early professional years I was asking the question: How can I treat, or cure, or change this person? Now I would phrase the question in this way: How can I provide a relationship which this person may use for their own personal growth?"
— Carl Rogers, Psychologist and leading figure in Humanistic Psychology
